Who We Are

Since 1998, over 500 instructors have learned elements of the JMA Method via the Virginia EMT Instructor Training Institute. Jake Mazulewicz served for:

2 years as a paid EMT on a private service.
3 years with the Hampden-Sydney Volunteer Fire Department, and
4 years with the Blue Ridge Mountain Rescue Group.

He also served as a U.S. Army Paratrooper and Combat Engineer and was injured during Special Forces training. He earned his Ph.D. in Education from the University of Virginia. He has taught over 1000 contact hours of courses to non-profit, university, and corporate clients, has led over 100 experiential leadership and teambuilding programs for clients including: GE Fanuc, Seagrams, Sodexho, and George Washington University's Executive MBA Program. He has delivered presentations to national and international audiences, and served for five years as a Senior Training Developer for a Fortune 500 company.
